It's an endless loop.
I have the exact same issue. I have 135 GB of storage space free but get the same endless loop as you. Game requires update > click update > nothing happens > game requires update...
@lucky_dutch Use the Origin app. It will start automatically in the Origin app
- @TwoBrokeBacon Tried that too... only thing that worked was to remove both 2042 and BFV games to the root and then reinstall them!
