BF2042 won't start

BF2042 won't start Steam version Origin loads can start game Anti cheat app starts then BF2042 sit's idle as a background app doing nothing

    i solved the problem by clearing the origin cache files.

When trying to start BF2042 via Steam, do you see the game in your Taskmanager?

    @EA_Leeuw yes it is in taskmanager as a background service , using 0.3MB and doing nothing
