Black screen and backround music after finishing game of conquest

I am having the same issue, pretty much every round. Sometimes I can play a couple of rounds in a row, but usually the screen just goes black after one round, without showing the progress indicator (animated cross thing) and I can hear the background music and then I have to ALT+F4 out of the game. It's very frustrating.
