@RobAina808 I have merged your thread with this one as it's related to the same issue with the tick rate on the Solo/Coop servers.
Since it's unknown if the tick rate will be increased again in the future, I'd suggest using a Portal experience with the bots set to "PVP AI" instead of Solo/Coop, as the problem should not occur that way. It also should not occur when playing multiplayer.
Question about this: When Solo/Coop starts, is this a dedicated instance that’s created on the EA side or is this a local server that’s created on the host machine (or party leader)? I would assume the former as it would rule out performance or network issues with the host for a better experience.
@ElliotLH Thank you for the reply and explanation. It'd be nice if they looked into fixing this problem this is quite a large thread with similar issues. I really don't like portal because you cannot earn ribbons. I'm sure a bunch of others would agree.
@RobAina808 My understanding is that, unfortunately, unless they're prepared to improve the servers again, it's unlikely to be fixed going forwards. The way I do it is, if I need to earn ribbons for some reason, such as the current weekly missions, I'll grind Redacted Breakthrough in Solo/Coop (6 matches are usually enough in most cases and unless they're vehicle-centric there shouldn't be any issues with this particular problem), and if I want to mess around on my own then I'll use Portal.
E.G. Start with Blasco and get the Intel and Wingman ribbons. If the bots haven't captured the point, make as much progress on the Combat and Objective ribbons as possible. Redeploy as Falck and heal bots until the Logistics ribbon is awarded, then finish off Combat and Objective if necessary. Usually I've done all that by the third sector so I quit and start again.
