Camera broken Lis rocket vehicles in Solo/Co-op

Summarize your bug Using lis guided rocket breaks vehicle and rocket camera, rocket camera stuck looking at floor so impossible to aim and vehicle camera stays static underground no matter where vehicle goes.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Fire a lis missile once then try again, restarted and updated system still able to repeat.
What happens when the bug occurs? Camera for guided missile stares at players feet and vehicle camera goes far under map and doesn’t move even if the vehicle is being driven.
What should be happening instead? Not that.

    Still broken, the new jet causes it as well. 1 spawn at the start of the match and then it’s broken.

    Yeah I was having the same issue which also affects the TV guided rocket as well. I will do some testing to see if there is a general work around that works for me.

    commanderpatchy​ It's due to solo/coop using servers with a low tick-rate. It can be avoided by playing Portal with PVP AI, since that uses different servers.

    Edit: I've also moved your comment over to the main one about this problem.

    Is this issue still not fixed?? It is January 2026 and I am having the exact same problem!!

    Ok, I get EA devs were busy making BF6, but now that has been released I think it's time to fix some of the older games. BF4 still has some glitches too!

    It's unlikely to be fixed at this point as it would involve moving to higher tick-rate servers, which would incur costs. The simplest solution for solo play against AI is to set up a Portal playlist instead. The only real difference is that bots won't join your squad.

    Description of the issue:

    As a dedicated Solo/Co-op player, I am reporting a persistent and frustrating camera bug. When using guided missiles (Lis G-84 TGM) or when a vehicle is destroyed by AI, the camera often gets stuck under the map or inside the character's feet. This bug forces me to restart the match or redeploy, ruining the flow of the solo experience.

     

    Why this matters:

    This bug seems tied to AI server synchronization (Solo/Co-op). It makes vehicle-focused gameplay very frustrating for those of us who prefer playing against bots rather than in full multiplayer.

     

    My Configuration (to confirm it's not a hardware issue):

     

    CPU: Intel Core i7-14700F

     

    GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060

     

    Resolution: 2560x1440 (60Hz)

     

    Please investigate the tick-rate/sync issues on Solo servers. We solo players value our experience just as much as the multiplayer community!

    Hi Raven196,

    I've merged your post with this existing one about the same issue. However, it's unlikely at this point that any changes can be made. I'd recommend building some Portal playlists and using those for solo play instead. The only real difference with Portal is that the bots won't join your squad.
