Camera Glitch Reproducable in BF 2042 COOP

This is an issue with solo/coop that has been known about for some time, but there haven't been any fixes yet, and potentially, it may not be fixed. If you want to play against AI without this happening, then I'd suggest building a Portal playlist for yourself with PVP AI enabled.

sorry I was under the impression it wasn't fixed as it wasn't reproducable for the devs to figure out what goes wrong. I know the bug has been around for quite some time and only in COOP. But one would think that they'd just add a reset camera function when entering a vehicle or something like a console command.

It's due to the servers that solo/coop uses being a low refresh rate. The only way of fixing it would be for investment to be made to change them. I don't think it'll happen myself, but you never know.

Seems very weird. I can clearly notice the the camera in vehicles is just stuck in a random point of the map (sometimes close to the actual camera like you can still see the minigun moving and shooting in different directions).

I am pretty sure I could just go into the code and add a reset camera feature myself. All you need to do is check if the camera position is the same position of the vehicle or just always do it and take a slight loss in frames or something when entering vehicles (you can't do much anyways while entering).

Or give us a console command like I mentioned in the post. It can't really be all too difficult even for a junior dev (I'm a senior dev myself). ^^

Let's just hope for the best. And if nothing else helps hopefully they got it fixed in BF6 (still waiting for the BF Labs invitation to find ALL THE BUGS (very unlucky with software and hardware here haha)). Cheers mate!
