SCUMBY4826I am having the same issue. Although, when I log into BF2042 through my xbox app on my laptop and do cloud gaming, I can see their friend requests just fine and am able to join. I think the issue is that the Xbox Series X is not registering the updates from the other platforms to the Xbox Series X itself. Can an EA representative please reach out and support this issue. Or atleast post an official fix/reason why it won't work. There is an issue with their game and I have not been able to contact an EA representative yet. @EA
How do you do the cloud gaming and join on the Xbox app? It joins the game through the console when you do this? I deleted the game and am re installing it hopefully something gets fixed
I did the same, deleted and re-installed my game entirely and did not work. How you do the cloud gaming is as follows; 1) download and connect the xbox app on a computer, 2) click cloud gaming on the xbox app, 3) choose your game. At this point its pretty self explanatory and through the cloud on PC while logged into your xbox account, you will be able to see those friend requests and join them and play. But the moment you switch back to your xbox, it doesn't register the friend requests you just accepted.
Also downside to the cloud on PC, unless your laptop is really good, you are going to have extreme latency issues while playing on your PC through the Xbox App on computer
