Whenever I try aiming down sights the camera/view will stutter which effectively prevents ADS from being used. As long as LT is being held, the stuttering persists. This appears to be a rare issue as I have not seen other posts mentioning it but it has all but killed my motivation to play the game due to being unable to hold LT and aim down sights.

Whenever I try to aim down sights the camera stutters making aiming near impossible. As long as LT is held down, the camera or view will stutter which gives the impression of the game dropping frames but I don't believe that's what is happening.
I have tried playing on a separate Xbox One console with a different controller and the same problem occurs. I have also tried reinstalling the game and the issue has remained. Any help at all in resolving this would be greatly appreciated as this has mostly killed the motivation I have to play the game
Community ManagerIm getting game freezing when aim down sights on Scoped Sniper rifles. It bugs out, freezes , stutters , actually makes character turn alittle..
Happens tons on top of Stranded map Ship almost a certainty..That i can recreate it with it locking up my character..
solo or with friends. It doesnt matter.
I play on PC and have been only experiencing this when i try and use my controller.
I got back to mouse and it fine. controller ADS is super stutter/choppy
Same but on series X. Weirdly it only started for me yesterday after upgrading to a 4k TV.
Smooth until I ADS. Then it's like the frame rate halves to 30fps or something. If I ADS on an enemy helicopter, it comically chugs along the screen in a sort of stop motion movement.
In portal if it matters.
Going to try a reinstall this morning. Will edit my post only if it fixed the problem.
EDIT: Reinstall fixed it.

Maybe it also works for the other players.
Jumped on again after the most recent update and it's doing it again. Just going to uninstall it at this point.
Not prepared to reinstall the whole game after every update, to fix it. (seems to be the only fix).
It's 60 FPS, aim down sights and it's like it switches the game to 30 FPS. Aiming at a helicopter and it stutters across the screen.
