It's unfortunate to read that you're having connection issues with Battlefield 2042.

So you can't lookup what the code is? What it means? Surely error codes are there to work out the issue? I've done the troubleshooting FYI, my internet connection is fine, I literally just downloaded the game. Why is it that when there's a problem its just shafted onto players, as if it's their fault? It's the first (and usually only) solution posted.
What does the error code mean? What does it correspond to?
I was able to play the game while downloading it, you know against AI on that single map, and now it won't get past this screen.

Hey @PBMS123,
The error that you're receiving is a generic 'unable to connect' error.
What you can also give a try is, if you have the possibility to do so, setting up a Mobile Hotspot (3g/4g connection) and connecting your PC to that hotspot to see if you can get past the network error.
I would also recommend trying to get in touch with your ISP to check if they might be aware of potential issues.

I'm from Australia, I've never had an issue like this, I was able tod ownload the game, and even able to play the game while it was downloading.
I can play every other Battlefield title, my ISP doesn't block anything, and I use Google and Cloudflare DNS so I'm not using ISP DNS.
