Cant add friend on social, hes on xbox x and im on pc

Question

Cant add my friend on social, hes on xbox series X, im on PC.

he shows up on search as do i for him, but we get error code

ERROR

FAILED TO SEND FRIEND REQUEST. // 2:-13629710400:404J:504k

Cross play enabled on both, and his is definitely the series x/s version.

hes tried adding more pc friends and cant, but can add xbox friends

Hey @flusted,It's possible that this has something to do with the EA account, Microsoft account or console privacy settings. Have you checked already if nothing is blocked on there?

Ive checked no restrictions on the xbox account, he doesnt have an ea account?&nbsp;thankyou for your help so far

Hey @flusted,They should have an EA account if they are playing an EA game. That's actually also how the cross-play friend invite system works, you have to search them via their EA account username.
