Can't close game. Can't terminate process.
When I exit BF2042 the game is in my task manager using a high amount of CPU. I can't terminate it via task manager. I've tried Killing all process trees Using forced taskkill via command prompt ...
Strangely, as of right now, the issue isn't happening anymore. The only thing I changed is allowing BF2042 to communicate through my private network via Windows Firewall. However, I'm not sure if that is the solution.
When the problem did occur, what happened was that the game's window closed, but the .exe remained on my task manager with high CPU usage. I would have to force end the task for those reasons. The PC tower did not fully shut off when it happened at the time.
