@EA_Aljo Thanks for assisting. The problem was the xbox insider alpha build. Removed myself from the insider program and once I have the released version of the xbox os installed, BF worked straight away.
I have not been able to connect to the servers since Friday, could have been longer but not sure. The game startes up and gets to the connecting to online services screen and either it sits there forever then crashes or almost instantly crashes back to the main home screen on my Series X.
I have tried everything under the sun to figure this out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, clears the all saved data for the game, cleared the Mac Address and changed the DNS settings, checked xbox support for any issues with xbox status. I have also changed the power settings on my series X, I play with a standard controller not an elite/elite series 2 or third party controller.
I can play other games on my Xbox Series X with no problem. I seen other people having issues with other EA games, so I tried starting up Battlefield V and had no issues with getting into the game.
Just trying to get on BF2042 and complete my weekly missions and kill a little time but can't, this is really frustrating and annoying.
