Summarize your bug When I reach the deployment screen the only thing I see is the map. I can access the chat but I have no interface to select my equipment or even where I want to appear. I can't even access the game menu to quit the game. An Alt+f4 is required.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea how to reproduce this bug. What I know is that, currently, the only solution I have found to be able to get rid of this bug is to disable crossplay. But by disabling the crossplay, it appears, in the portal mod, that I no longer have many servers to join or they are all empty. It's quite frustrating...
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't chose a specialist and deploy into the game
What should be happening instead? Are your sure you want me to answer this question ? May be I should be able to join the game and play ? Don't u think ?

Either I have crossplay enabled and 50% of my game sessions are buggy, or I have crossplay disabled and I have no more servers to join. What can I do ? I uninstall BF2042 and definitely boycott EA?
