Cant download or open battlefield 2042

The game is installed yet the EA app won't acknowledge that and says that I have to download it again. If I try to download it says that there was an issue on EAs end that I need to restart my computer. Did that and it still won't work. I've reinstalled the EA desktop app twice with no results. No clue what is going on as this only happens with EA games and their new app.

@nighthawk1099, glad to hear that the issue has been resolved! By the way, we also figured out that the issue that you're experiencing didn't only affect Battlefield. Hey @nighthawk1099,

Can you try to switch to the Origin app, instead of the EA app, to see if you can download the update and eventually also launch the game?

I was just about to reply saying that origin wont let me download bf 2042 on it and as I was opening it to show the error I get (says it can only be downloaded from ea desktop app) it started to download just fine. Ill update once it finishes downloading as I hope all my data is still there.

@nighthawk1099, Battlefield 2042 only has online saved data! So as long as you're signed in with the correct EA account, it should be fine.

Did you see any progress? 🙂

@EA_Leeuw Yep, I was able to download it! No clue why I was having issues with downloading it on origin a couple of months ago.
