@EA_BlueberryI happy to announce that after months of matchmaking loop issue I able to finally solve this problem as I mention in my last comment here."Double NAT" was active from my ISP side, which means that I got external IP address and another virtual IP which I can only see at the router's administrator settings.It means that if you forward ports it just wouldn't work because the ports never forwarded to the right IP and basically block from ISP side.When that "double NAT" disabled I got brand new IP that I set to static, and then forward the ports that I mention to that specific static IP.It maybe work even without forward the ports, just by disable that "double NAT" thing. In my case I took no prisoners and forward those ports.All BF2042 mods I've tested right now work without issues, first time from game release at November.And I must tell that I solve that NAT type at For honor to open, finally after 3 years of strict status.Those issues connected and solved together, so I hope it will be useful information.Cheers

@Conv3Rs We do not have our official ports publicly listed, however your ISP can walk you through steps on how to adjust your router settings so you do not have STRICT NAT. If you login to your router's administrator settings (instructions are on the router), you can check to see if you have uPnP enabled or disabled. You'll want that enabled for gaming.

Try this as it cant hurt. Ive done it and it helped with a problem that I was having. Origin - Windows
If Origin is running, close it by clicking Origin in the menu bar then Exit.
Double-check that Origin is fully closed. If it isn’t, you won’t be able to complete all the steps.
To double-check, open Task Manager and go to Processes. Make sure that Origin.exe and OriginWebHelperService.exe aren’t there. If they are, end the tasks to close them.
Hold the Windows key + R.
In the command box that opens, type %ProgramData%/Origin then click OK.
Delete all the files and folders inside it except for LocalContent. Do not delete this folder.
If you’re on Windows XP, you’ll find the ProgramData folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Electronic Arts\
Hold the Windows key + R again.
In the command box that opens, type %AppData% then click OK.
In the Roaming folder that opens, delete the Origin folder.
Click on AppData in the address bar.
Open the Local folder.
Delete the Origin folder in there.
Restart your PC and log back into Origin.

I saw a similar problem in another thread.
Are you using the EA desktop app? Try using the old Origin to install, re-install, update, repair, etc.

If you try selecting a free game like Apex Legends to install, then stop the installation and try restarting Battlefield does that fix it?

@EA_Blueberry I've download Apex Legends and while download the game was ready to play at 38% - I stop the download (not the installation) and click update to Battlefield 2042 - update complete and still able to click update. I've download again Apex to 100%, then delete - and still no solution. After trying 10 matchmaking I able to join a game (not with my friends that stuck at matchmaking loop). After one round I got stuck in that loop again.

Before last update we experience that matchmaking loop also, but not as hard like after the update.

It could be a program running in the background conflicting with the launcher or the anti-virus blocking it. Make sure your launcher and Battlefield are added as exceptions to the anti-virus.

Try a clean boot and then immediately launch the game as administrator to see if that helps. If it launches, that means a program running in the background is the likely cause.

@EA_Blueberry I did as you said and the game open, but I think I wasn't clear - my problem is matchmaking loop. The game is up to date and I double checked it in game - version 0.4.0.

I saw in this post that what cause the problem might be a missing update, so I check if I can update the game - and I was surprised to see that I can click update. After I did so, there is not really update that download or installed - just a message say that the game is playable.

Ingame while try to join a game, after the countdown I see my own specialist and then return to main menu.
Sometimes even the countdown bugged as it go to 4 for example and then jump to 10 and repeat.
