Can't play BF2042 with friends on the same network

I started playing BF2042 again after an ~year hiatus. Now, whenever I try to play a game with my friends on the same wifi network as them, the game boots out some of us back to the lobby. We are all using ethernet, I am on PC with the EA app, one of my friends is on PC and launches with steam and the last one is on PS5. This wasn't an issue the last time that I played.

    can be ports ya need to openen in router <-- depends on network and router type !

    Sometime booting game at youre devices in certain order can help also.

    Some system info would also help 😉

    I don't know that it is a router issue as this doesn't happen when we play other games together. 
    Specs:

    CPU: Intel Core I7 11700K 
    GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 1660 super 6gb 
    RAM: 16 GB 8x2
    OS: Windows 11 pro

    @v1zz1an maybe youre router did get a silent firmware update true the night , a reset/reboot router could fix it.
    Sometime ya need to do settings in router (have seen more topics with people at same network and connection issues).

    You may need to set a static IP address for each device in your network (router settings).
