Can't use left and right mouse buttons in-game

Summarize your bug Can't use the left and right mouse buttons in-game. They work in the menus and in-game spawn menu.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can't tell you other than try it on different hardware configurations.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't aim nor shoot.
What should be happening instead? Aiming down the sights and shooting

Aiming down the sights and shooting doesn't work.

The two mouse buttons do work however in the menu and in the spawn menu.

    Had this issue, try tabbing out and back into the game. Fixes it for me.

    However leaving game and or exiting 2042 do not reliably restore the L/R mouse button Fire/Zoom at all. Very unreliable, even after restoring defaults. Mouse L&R work fine everywhere but in trying to select keybindings.
    As an Aside in the X axis is not correctly represented as left/right movement 'onfoot', but this works in game. Obviously a problem with mouse button detection post selecting a mouse key binding (L/R buttons do not register - Isn't it about time this was addressed corrected as it's been going on for months, PLEASE fix.

    Windows platform,

    Same for me, also when trying to set a mouse button binding after clicking on the option (mouse left button OK) no mouse button is registering for teh bind, doesnt matter if you clear the default binding, reset default options, or delete PROFSAVE*, teh my docs battlefield folders, etc, same problem, mouse L/R  fire/Zoom does not work in game (but fine is seleting maps etc.

    EA shoudl produce a easilly accessible problems and fixes doc/ webpage, and first date known... to fix.
    Very sad as had no such problems with al me previous BF games
