Change language

Hello.
I have applied the last update and Battlefield2042, which I had installed in Japanese, is now in English.
I have requested support on EAhelp.
I was told how to change the language settings in EAapp.

However, when I replied that it did not improve, this time
I was told how to change the language settings for the Origin app and was also assured that I would do my best to help and please rest assured that I will do my best to help.

When I replied that it did not improve here either, I received a horrible reply.

I replied that it didn't work either, and got a horrible reply: "We are sorry to inform you that our customer support cannot answer your detailed game-playing question due to lack of information.
If you would like, please visit the official site or forum.
We are very sorry that we cannot help you. If you are experiencing technical issues in-game or problems managing your EA account, this is within our scope of support and we will do our best to assist you."
So I was instructed by EAhelp Customer Support to ask the question here.

Is this a question about my game play?
I believe this is a technical issue within the game that we are obligated to support.

Nevertheless, I would be happy to hear from anyone who knows how to resolve this issue.

I don't see anything in those steps about changing the language for the game in Origin. There is a language setting for Origin and there is a separate language setting for each game in Origin (as described in this post.)

Also, when you install each game in Origin, it should ask you as part of the install what language you want to use.

I would definitely keep EA App uninstalled for now and continue to use Origin.

To clarify - Your issue is that you are trying to change the language to Japanese and it is not working. Correct?

If so, please describe the specific steps you are taking and what you are seeing.

Hi,Thank you for your reply.
Here are the steps I have taken so far

1.April 2022: Battlefield2042 Japanese version installed.
2.May 20, 2022 (I'm not sure): There was an update, so I updated it with EAapp.
3.When I started up the game, I found it was in English, so I contacted support.
4. Support instructed me to change the language setting of EAapp.
5. Set the language of EAapp to English and restart PC
6. Set the language in EAapp to Japanese and restart the PC
7. I started BF2042, but it was still in English with no change, so I replied to support that the problem was not solved.
8. Support instructed me to change the language setting of Origin app.
9. Deleted EAapp and installed Origin app. Set the language setting to English and restarted the PC.
10. Set the language setting of the Origin app to Japanese and restart the PC.
11. The Origin app processed BF2042 as if it was updating to BF2042.
12. I started BF2042, but it was still in English and no change, so I replied to support that the problem was not solved.
13. The reply from support instructed me to ask on the forum as they can't answer about the details of playing the game.

I will uninstall BF2042 and try to install again.
First it asked me for language and I set it to Japanese.
I think I am now at ease.
