Crash every game

If you experience regular crashes and you bought your game on steam be aware running both the EA and Steam overlays simultaneously can conflict with Bf 2042 rendering pipeline, potentially causing DirectX GPU hang errors and game crashes.

What are your computer specs, are you playing wireless, is it a shared connection, what is running in the background ?

What error message do you get when this crash happens ?

Copy and paste that error message into a search engine and see what comes back.

That should keep you busy for a while.

Reinstall the game and if it persists restart the PS5 in safe mode and run a database rebuild. This does not affect your games or saved games, this scans the entire drive for errors or inconsistencies in the file system.

How did you fix it? I want to know :( 

Yes, these AFK servers cause memory leaks & RAM bloating, and who knows what else.

I'm on PS5. Ever since the Iwi Jima update i can't even finish a match without the fckn game crashing. You're right. What's the point of even trying to complete the battle pass. I lose my fckn xp almost every match when this game crashes. Absolutely pathetic that a multi billion dollar company cant fix their fckn  game.  

Didn’t know AFK servers were that big of a RAM drain. I’ve never touched them to be fair as it’s just pointless low XP. 
I had the same DirectX crash error hence why I commented to try help :). 

This is my experience and why I recommended tweaking graphic settings - I monitored my GPU usage and it would always flash spike to 99%+ from 40%, which coincided with the crash. 
That was my old 3090. Now upgraded in prep for BF6. 
Currently running BF2042 on high everything and haven’t had any DirectX like the one you posted since. 
Did you get the event viewer to see what that said? 

My GPU reaches 40% at most playing the game, i don't think that's the reason. The crasches really started when i checked out one of these AFK servers for 10 minutes and my RAM was bloated up to 10 gig, i normally never get more than 1 gig, these AFK servers seriously corrupt peoples computers and i would advise everyone to stay away from them, while EA for reason unknown to mankind keeps these servers up, while it's obviously cheating and the ridiculous fact that there are 50+ of the same servers blows my mind.

I do have all my settings on high, my GPU has no problem, i get like 200 fps average and the first week i played there where no crashes at all, if the crashes persist i'll take your advise and set a few settings on medium. GG's

So I had this on BF6 beta. My GPU power was spiking and causing the crash. I was running everything in low graphic settings. Thought ‘F it.. I’ll push my GPU to High..’ I’ve tried other fixes and nothing worked, so put my graphics to medium / high and had 0 crash issues. 

Potentially may help you if you monitor GPU and it was spiking like mine did.
