Crazy packet loss

I've been playing the game from the day it launched, albeit I took an 6-7 month break 2022. I have never and I repeat, NEVER had any packet loss issues in this game before. I had no issues right as the Season 7 started, but maybe 1.5 weeks ago I started encountering massive packet loss during matches. I have checked my connection and I get solid 112mb/s even mid match. I have had this same speed (200) for half an year and had no issues with it before, and I even played the game with 80-90mb/s wifi for a few months and had no packet loss issues. I have changed my router recently and also the ethernet cable (cat 6) and I have no issues on any other game but this one. I have no issues in BFV, no issues in Forza Horizon 5, no issues in Ark survival evolved. I'm playing through Steam. EU region. Ping is 43 to 46 which is not the best but not the worst either.

PC specs (and I do realize both these and the connection speeds are not the greatest but I can't really do much for the pc specs at the moment):

i7-8700

RTX 2070

16 GB RAM

the game is on SSD

I have tuned my game graphics all down to "low" (geforce experience recommends 'medium' but it might be outdated) and it had no effect. I did purchase a new display about an week before I started having these issues so I am wondering could it be the cause of it? It's an 1440p while I used to have 1080p. I've tried setting the display resolution back to 1080p and I still encounter the packet loss so idk.

I've tried resetting my router, flushing the dns, "check the integrity of game files" (which I have to do every time I want to play the game, since October FYI), switching the ethernet cable port, switching the ethernet cable, shutting down all background apps, tuned down all graphics. Nothing has helped even the slightest. It's also kind of weird but, and this makes me thing the issue is either in the game or the server connection, it doesn't start as soon as I join the match. I could play for 10 minutes or 30 minutes and then it starts all of a sudden. I could be in the middle of an massive fight in Rush XL, explosions and all that stuff for ten minutes or more and had zero issues. Then after I start moving out and it's all quiet I suddenly start gliding around and lagging like hell and I get the yellow boxes on the left side of the screen, which soon turn into red which continues for the rest of the match occasionally going away for a couple of minutes.

Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Could you try a tracert?
Open CMD prompt by typing CMD in the run box then right click CMD and select run as administrator.
In the command box type "tracert google.com" without quotes hit "enter" and let it run.
When it completes look for packet loss and dropped packets.
When complete type "exit" in the command prompt to exit CMD.

If you see packet loss contact your ISP and tell them where "Which hops".
If there is no packet loss try a game repair.

    You can also try.

Troubleshoot your connection to EA games

  • Today, I started experiencing PL IN lag issues on all servers between 6 - 7. This problem is new; it wasn’t there before. I don’t know what they changed today, but the lag has started. I am experiencing the same issue on all servers.

I hope you are not shutting down some servers while leaving live support. The ping is very bad right now.
