Cursor randomly spins/looks up in the air - Battlefield 2042

My cursor keeps randomly spinning or looking straight into the air in Battlefield 2042 on PC using either the mouse or controller. It doesn't do this in any other game I play including BFV. It happens 5-10 times per match. Anyone else having this issue?

    Found the solution. Go into Steam. Right click on Battlefield 2042. Go to Properties>Controller> Disable Steam Input.

    I had the same problem, turning off raw input didnt help, same goes for closing steam (i am on origin).

    What did help was removing all of the movement inputs for the controller from the foot soldier in the controller mappings.

    Yes, I do, XBOX One Wireless controller that I can use wired as well.  I have no problems with other BF games, just BF2042
