Direct x crash
My game keeps crashing randomly, always during a game though never at the menu. It causes the game to freeze, then the windows bar is unable to be used. I have to bring up task manager, end task then restart my computer. An error box comes up with direct x in the name but I can never see the full error.
I have tried reinstalling display drivers with DDU, updating windows drivers, moved bf2042 to an SSD, repaired files in origin and I have also unplugged all controllers (ps5 controller and HOTAS) that aren't keyboard or mouse. Direct x is updated, and I changed the PROFSAVE_profile to turn on directx12 (I saw that in another thread with a similar issue). I have reduced in-game settings to low/medium, with RTX off, HDR off, DLSS off.
Sometimes it can crash after a minute, other times it can last up to 20 minutes or so. What else can I try??
I don't have issues in any other games, so I'm guessing this is just yet another issue in bf 2042. Such a shame, as I'm actually enjoying this game now.

EDIT: I just played a full game and then half a game before crashing, this time i can see the error window.
Directx function 'GetDeviceRemovedReason' failed with
DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG ('The GPU will not respond to
more commands*), GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti*, Driver:
51659, This error is usually caused by the graphics driver
crashing; try installing the latest drivers.
I had forgotten about this thread tbh, but it eventually stopped crashing for me - Im not 100% sure, but I think it’s because I started using EAdesktop instead of the Origin launcher.
