@EA_Atic hasn't been online since yesterday. They probably work Mon-Fri. We won't have a patch or solution this weekend.

Yours is not the same error.. I had this error as well...
The fix for this specific error is to delete the Battlefield 2042 folder out of DOCUMENTS and then start the game... It will create a brand new folder.
All your bindings and settings will be wiped but should be able to play the game...
This was an error in BF1 as well.

No Luck, still the same. I didn't had errors during the BETA.
I can see a CrashReport has been generated at the time of event in Battlefield folder under Documents. Can't read it tho.

This one is an easy fix. Reinstall your graphics driver. The same one you already have. Do a normal install. no need for a clean install. Reboot.
Then boot up the game. As a precaution limit you frames for this game to something where your GPU will only sit at 80% usage while in the menu.
Right now the GPU will sit at 100% in the menu of the game. So for me:
144hz screen limit game to 90fps using Riva Tuner (use what ever limiter you want)
start the game. I haven't had a crash since

I think EA will not fix this error in the near future, since it was on many versions of the game, I ask you to write, did the Windows update help you, from which version and to which version did you update?
- Cyning900254 years agoSeasoned Rookie@progtech1 Update did not help me. I went from Windows 10 Pro 21H1 to Windows 10 Pro 21H2 and then from 21H2 to Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22000
- 4 years ago@EA_Atic Please tell me how long it can take to solve this problem in order to understand whether it makes sense for players to update operating systems or wait
