directx function FindClosestMatchingMode error

Battlefield 2042 was working fine yesterday but when i went to start the game this morning I was given the error shown in the attached image. Please help.

    @Vipergamer1230 hey man, i have seen some workarounds for this issue !
    Rollback / reinstall video driver !
    Set screen windows mode for game (PROFSAVE_profile)
    Reset all AMD center settings !
    Reinstall the game and delete the configuration file
    Verify/repair game files !

    turns out all I needed to do was edit a few of the fullscreen options in the profile file that you mentioned.

    Hey! How do I change this file and make it fullscreen or whatever im supposed to do. Im really sad I just wanted to play BattleField 2042.
