After 2 months or reading and you tube, I have tried like 20 Nvidia drivers, I found that if I disable the cache in the control panel, AND go in documents / battlefield 2042 / cache , and prior to starting the game , I delete EVERY TIME THE CACHE, I have no more errors. Instead of my GPU go read the cache, this is where my GPU hung, if I let it compress the shaders and my GPU is not idle, it takes like 40 seconds to enter the game but It won't crash.

3 years agoIt means everytime you load a new map that you have not played yet it needs to rebuild the cache, have you tried other driver versions? @BBQ_grill2
