Discord Sounds Disabled During BF2042

Seems like it is an issue with BF2042 and my Windows 11 system. The sound occasionally "hiccups" in the slightest, and when it does the mic stops working in DISCORD. Still working on this...

Astro A40 Headset, with MixAmp. To my knowledge, I have never installed any additional 3rd-party software for this, only what Windows installs. All others games working great, currently using Discord on another laptop PC sitting next to me with line-in to my MixAmp, but not at all ideal.

friend of mine has this issue aswell. suddenly his mic stops working while playing bf2042

same Problem - SB_LiveZ Microphone Input, Windows 10. My Voice is crappy in Discord while playing BF2042.

same problem, logitech g933, if i mute the mic i cant unmute and some times it just stops working, have to change usb port for headset and close and reopen discord. 

only had this issue while playing bf2042, friend of mine is also seeing mic issues in discord but not sure what hardware he is on. 

Yes, same issue. Using a Logitech G933 and it seems that when I mute myself by moving the microphone up, it no longer picks up any sound. G HUB (yuck) mentions all is working normally but Discord says no. Often have to exit BF2042 and Discord to fix, 50% requires a reset of the PC.

Same issue as well.

USB headset.

Microphone works for a bit and then randomly cuts out during the game.

Have to reselect Audio source in discord to reactivate it.

V frustrating, hope this is fixed soon.

Same issue here! So frustrating. 

Mic suddenly stops recording / freezes during gameplay, no more input is recognized. No settings changed, sound and other voices is still audible, but the mic just stops working. Even after restarts it persists.

Win 11, Logitech G533

Tried to reinstall discord, reset headset to factory default, reinstalled headset. still the same. at some point during gameplay it just stops recording and doesn't recognize any input anymore...

Try this in DISCORD and restart your system. Go in to settings, Activity Status, if Battlefield 2042 is not on your list of Added Games yet, click the Add it@ button when the game is running and see if it helps. My problem has been gone for a while, and anther fellow gamer friend of mine did the same thing.
