EA app broken

Can’t invite friends in battlefield 2042 or Battlefront 2 in game. We are friends in the app so that’s not the issue. Names don’t  pop up in game even though they show that they are online via the app. The overlay is busted when trying to play BF2 if it’s on I can’t use or see my mouse cursor. When it’s off I can but now can’t see when I get an invite. It’s not on my end so I won’t take blame. My friends are also all having the same issue.
