Summarize your bug Cannot access this weekend's free trial because I participated in the EA Play 10 hour trial. The game absolutely won't launch, and if I try to reinstall, it tells me that I don't have the license to reinstall.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use your 10 hours EA play time and then try to launch the game without owning it during this free weekend
What happens when the bug occurs? The game will not launch
What should be happening instead? The game should be launching
It seems that having the EA Play subscription on your Steam account disqualifies you from being able to access the game during this free weekend. Was this intended? Here are some reddit threads explaining this:

The attached picture that I am providing shows what happens if you try to uninstall the game and reinstall it.
Ok I managed to fix this. You have to add the license of the free trial to your steam account trough the steam database website. Go to this link and choose 'add free license' on the top(you need their chrome extension). https://steamdb.info/sub/665600/ It's installing now.
