Electric baton won't be switched to primary automatically

I noticed this too when I switched my takedown to the baton. For all other melee weapons, if I tap F to do a melee strike (whether to break a window, destroy a fence, or hit an enemy), after the melee animation completes I switch back to the weapon I was originally using. With the baton, though, it doesn't switch back. After the melee animation completes I'm left holding the baton, and I have to manually switch back to my original weapon. This is very frustrating especially when I don't notice and then try to shoot, only to swing the baton instead.&nbsp;

@-AC-bliss4kI made a thread about this right after the baton was put into the game.
Nothing has been done about it since.
Don’t expect a fix to this issue.
I stopped using the baton purely because of this bug.

Yay, they released a new, fun melee weapon.
Oh, it’s bugged and can cost you death.
Stop using baton and use a knife.

What a waste of time that melee weapon was.

How long ago was it added? I can see why other bugs would take priority to this one, but I am still hopeful that they'll fix it.&nbsp;
