Empty vehicles don't despawn

Unlike previous games where an abandoned vehicle will despawn after a period of time, they don't seem to in 2042. particularly troublesome in Breakthrough when friendly vehicles are abandoned in previous sectors and prevent new vehicles from spawning. Had a game last night where all 3 of our heavy armour slots were being used up by vehicles abandoned in old sectors.
