Error 12:4C when trying to Take Down Portal Server

This has been posted online before, but no EA employee will address it.  I will tell you what it is.  You don't have to believe me if you don't want to.  Better than no response from EA.

Your server is actually getting hacked or got hacked.  This has happened to me before.  This happens when someone or a group of people enter your game.  They most likely camp or stay in the menu.  This is when they're hacking into your server.

You won't be able to kick, ban, or take down your server.  

Keep an eye out on the scoreboard and you will most likely narrow it down to who is doing the hack.  My server just got hacked again, hence I'm out again looking for a solution to no avai. 

@DragonShadow71I had exactly the same problem. Several times since the premiere of the game, which indicates that the error was not caused by one of the updates (1.0.0, 2,0.0 etc..), but we are still dealing with a defective server program. 

It appears after the server has been turned on for a long time. It can be recognized by the blocked capabilities of the administration panel. You cannot close server, kick anyone out and banned, and only the messaging works fine.

Update: I have the exact same issue as yours. It goes after awhile but now is coming back.

I was waiting for everyone to leave then usually the server will be taken down by itself. But not this time. When I tried to log in tomorrow, the server seems to got "stuck" with one player (1/128), could not join (Invalid Game State) or take it down (Unknown Error: 12:300 1J:4C same as yours).

seems like they have your original names for some reason.

don’t know what you did during the update but clearly something didn’t migrate over 🤦🏽‍♂️

99% of my portal servers won’t load.

keeps throwing up an error message and won’t load them.

Portal servers are incredibly unstable since update.

My server kept closing down and kicking some people out but not everyone.

Then the server would chuck everyone out and no one could rejoin it.

Also, I was unable to take the server down!

so I couldn’t close the server and I couldn’t open another one because the game believed I still have the previous server open.

Not sure what’s happening but portal server stability is not great at all 🙁

Portal has some problems.

A server i opened last night is stil open.

It has no players in it.

And it will not let me shut it down.

So I can’t open a new server because it thinks I already have one open?!

Something is seriously wrong with portal since the update!

This needs urgent attention.

I opened a vehicle TDM server the other night.
I logged into the game the next day and saw the server was still active on the browser screen?!

I can’t close it. It won’t even give me the option to close it.

I can’t even join it.

There are no players in it, yet it is still open.

The game will not let me run any of my portal servers because it seems to think I still have a serve open. Error message says I have exceeded my personal quota - I assume it thinks I still have my vehicle tdm server open.

I cannot close it at all.
I’ve tried restarting the game.
Same thing.

I even duplicated the vehicle tdm server and then destroyed the original one, hoping it would clear it out the system.
But it hasn’t.

today, the old server is STILL showing on the browser screen?!

I need this looked at because I can no longer run ANY of my portal servers.
I had a large following of players that joined my servers. Now I can’t run them.

ad it stands, I can no longer play the game because I cannot run my servers.

the 3 or 4 dozen people that only play on my servers will also no longer be able to play the game now.

can I PLEASE have a response to this.

I have posted this issue on the update section of this forum but have had NO reply!

I’m on PS5 in the UK.

The server in question is called:

UK Hardcore - Vehicle TDM - 64 v 64

It’s still showing on the server browser and I can’t shut it!!

you can’t select the platform you play on, which means you can’t submit the bug report!

You must have the ability to take down servers in the browser?

Please take it down because I am unable to do this myself.

I have posted several times about this issue with no response.

I have tried closing the server.

Closing the game.

duplicating the server and destroying the old one.

Nothing works!

I’ve reported my own server in the hope that someone will close it for me.

I’ve just phoned EA - I calmly explained the issue and said that someone needs to close my server. The guy talked over me, told me to talk to Sony?!  And then he hung up on me!!

What kind of Mickey Mouse outfit is EA?!

If this doesn’t get resolved, fine, I won’t buy your games. Simple.

Just checked again.

My server is still jammed on the server browser.

That’s 4 days now.

Also noticed that there are currently 5 people playing any portal sever right now.

So today my jammed server is still on the browser screen.

Still no response from any EA person on this forum.

EA helpline were useless.

So I deleted game and reinstalled.

Retrieved all my game data.

Opened gane.

Failed to connect to EA servers.

Tried again.

Failed to connect to EA servers.
Tried again.

Failed to connect to EA servers.

Closed game.

Tried again.

Connected to EA servers.

Went to Portal Browser screen.

My old server is STILL jammed on the browser screen.

It’s been 4 or 5 days now.

Much more of this and I will take the game disc and burn it out back.
