Error Code: EC:10608 "Your latest sync was interrupted"

Tried opening BF 2042 today and I am receiving this error:

I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Any fixes?

Is it safe for me to open the game, or will I lose all progress?

I have the game through Steam.

I verified integrity of game files on Steam.

I did the Recover App option on EA Desktop App.

I Reinstalled EA Anticheat.

Don't worry about this problem, it's just an error that informs you that your game progress has not been sent to the server. The next time you start the game, everything will be back to normal 🙂. I also have an error from time to time. Don't be afraid, your statistics (rank etc.) are saved in real time while playing on the server.

  • Did you ever get this issue resolved dude? Havin same problem with Dragon Age. Just curious if you found a fix or work around. Cheers!

  • I used to play battlefield 5 all the time and then took a break, and for the past 3 months i’ve been trying to fix this issue of launching it. I’ve redownloaded it multiple times, but everytime I launch it, nothing happens, and it goes back to the launch button. Sometimes i get this error code EC:10608 Your latest sync was interrupted, there is a “Launch game” anyway button and i click it and nothing happens. I’ve hired 2 guys to try to help fix the issue and they couldn’t, can anyone help?

  • Yes It seems to be a message in error. I opened the game by clicking "launch game" and everything loaded up correctly. The message never appeared again, and I experienced no loss of progress or data. Thanks for the reply!

  • [UPDATE]

The next morning I attempted to open the game again, through Steam, and received the same exact error as above. After multiple tries and getting the same error I bit the bullet and clicked 'launch game' button. I was scared that I lost all of my progress, but once Battlefield opened and loaded to the main screen I was relieved. All of my progress was there! Everything was fine and up to date. I played a few matches of Rush, then exited the game. Upon exit I got a different error "Failed to upload game data to the cloud" and subsequently "Don't worry, your game is still saved locally. However, if you use your account across multiple devices, it may result in the loss of save data. Launching the game from this machine should resolve the issue." I left home and returned a few hours later and opened the game. Battlefield runs perfect now opening and closing without error. The issue resolved itself!
