Error: Connection Timeout in "Connecting to Online Services"

Things I've tried:

-Restart PC

-Reinstall game & reinstall Origin

-Reset Network and run troubleshooter

-Try multiple networks (Wi-Fi and Ethernet)

I have 20+ hours of "playtime" in this game and I only made it past the menu from the screenshot ONCE. The one-time access was on an entirely different university network. I need assistance as I believe this is NOT a BF2042 server issue. I think this is an issue on my end. I'm on a university connection with 3ms latency. Every other game works fine, including BFV (which I loved). I'm limited in my ability to open ports and change router settings so PLEASE ADVISE.

I dropped $100 on this game and Steam won't refund so please assist me in getting in.

Please do not ARCHIVE. Please do not tell me to Search (I've searched everywhere). Don't send me the EA Networking Troubleshoot articles listed here because I've tried everything I can from these:
