Hello, after todays update I get everytime the error "start your game from the distribution platform [...]" I tried to launch it via Steam, via Origin, tried to repair the game files and restarted ...

    "The team is working hard to get Hotfix #8.1.0.1 rolled out on Monday, 16th at 08:00 UTC for PC players."

I'm also encountering this error after the recent update. I've attempted all the fixes found online, plus a fresh installation of the game, EA, and Steam. The EA support channel seems clueless, merely copying and pasting solutions from the web that I've already tried. I'm frustrated and unsure if the developers are even aware of this issue.

    For those that still receiving this error message, can you please reinstall the EA Anticheat for BF2042 by following the instructions on this article: How to install and troubleshoot EA anticheat on your PC

      Unninstalled Anti-cheat, installed, updated and repaired. Nothing works. I'm going to try reinstall all the game now. Thanks EA games for makes the worst Battlefield ever.
