error "start your game from the distribution platform"

Hello, after todays update I get everytime the error "start your game from the distribution platform [...]" I tried to launch it via Steam, via Origin, tried to repair the game files and restarted ...

    @k3vl4r The current status is:
    "The team is working hard to get Hotfix #8.1.0.1 rolled out on Monday, 16th at 08:00 UTC for PC players."

After this game version update, the game cannot be opened properly, and the message "Please launch the game from your distribution platform. If the issue persists, please repair your game and try again." I've tried deleting the game twice but it didn't work.Maybe something went wrong with the update? My gaming platform is Steam.

    @EA_cuervo the Anti cheat and even a complet reinstall of the game didnt work for me. Still the error ☹️

      Thanks to everyone who provided an update on the troubleshooting steps. 

      The studio is currently investigating this.

        Still not working same error.. 

        Steps taken to try and resolve this problem but error still persists: Please note BF2042 is launched from steam

        1. Steam: Settings, Downloads, Clear Download Cache
        2. Steam: BF2042 Properties, Installed Files, Verify Integrity of game files
        3. EA App: Help, App Recovery, Clear Cache
        4. Windows: Run, %localappdata%, Delete all folders : BF2042, EA, Electronic Arts
        5. Windows: Run, %temp%, Delete all files 
        6. Uninstall EA Anticheat
        7. Install EA Anticheat
        8. Repair EA Anticheat

        STILL NOT WORKING
