Clean boot still has some lag. I will say i upgraded my wifi card to a wifi 6 from 5 and it has helped some. but i'm still getting lag spikes up to 3k ms

i've tested the ethernet speed vs the wifi speed. my ethernet is getting 20 megabits per second and my wifi is getting 340 megabits per second. newer routers are more geared towards wifi then ethernet now since more devices use wifi nowadays. imo

To be honest, i have pretty much all recommended hardware to play this game. Not minimum, recommended!! I should be playing this game just fine without the lag i've been receiving. Upgraded my spectrum modem, spectrum router and wifi card. I've tried all the fixes besides overclocking. I've redownloaded, fresh installed, repaired, and countless other things. Beta I had no problems. Game release and have had constant problems for an entire year. It has been a complete waste of a legendary edition that i paid for.

@DarnitJoe hmmm thats weird your wifi get more then a wired connection !
The ethernet cable ya use , what cat. version is it , and how long is this cable ? Any splitters / connectors or extra hubs in this cable line ?
The networkcard installed in your pc what are the connection specs ?
What type of connection do ya get from your ISP ?
PS tried the USER.CFG for workload at cpu, Your cpu still needs hard to work to run bf2042 !Also your MEM Hz is important, if ya got mem run at standard Hz , it could bottleneck in combo with cpu ,your game play
Cheers !
