    Update: this has been fixed in the 4.2.1 update.

    Thanks for passing this on to us.

    The teams are aware of this issue and are investigating.

    A workaround would be to go out of the vehicle selection screen and back in, this will update the timer.

The vehicle timer freezes until you exit the vehicle selection, so now you have an even less likely shot at getting an aircraft. Fix this

    @AuMordumthe only fix at the moment is to open and close the screen persistently.

    Several of us have submitted this as bugs and i included video.
