[FIXED] S6 - Patch 6.0 & 6.1 Causes Mouse Input Issues

Recently came back to revisit the game after a while away to find that my keyboard/mouse are delayed/entirely unresponsive once a match starts - mouse works fine in menus - keyboard inputs seem to be hit and miss though for some reason, but once a match starts, it seems I've gotta hold an input for more than a second and *maybe* it'll respond.

Re-launched game multiple times, validated game files, PC restart - nothing seems to work

right! I just can't control the movement of characters or vehicles, I will get stuck from time to time, but the people around me do walk normally. And I'm sure my configuration is sufficient. . . . .

Hi, well I'm on PC with over 2400 hours of gaming sur battlefield 2042 and since the update, my mouse no longer responds the same way. I feel like it's really slow sometimes when I move. It's very frustrating because the mouse no longer goes where I want it. I don't know if it's the update or me. Do you have any other feedback like this? I didn't change anything before the update.

To try to explain this more clearly, I've been experiencing this same intermittent issue, since the S6 update.

During gameplay, roughly every minute or two, it feels as if the mouse sensitivity drops 90%. Drastic physical mouse movements would translate to minimal aim movement in game. This would persist for a few seconds, then aim movement would return back to normal.

This has happened in every game I've played since the 6.0 update, I estimate with a frequency of every 1 to 2 minutes, a few seconds at a time, for the duration of the round so long as I'm spawned in and actively playing

There are no particular consistent steps to reproduce from what I could discern. I would just select either Conquest Redacted or Breakthrough Redacted mode, the game would load, and I would start playing. I haven't yet tried other maps aside from Redacted, or modes other than Conquest or Breakthrough.

It just feels like the mouse movement suddenly and drastically slows down for a few seconds then returns to normal.

@LongPal That's messed up. I have no idea what would cause that. Is Steam Input on? If so try turing it off.

Maybe deleting the 2042 folder in Documents will fix it.

Check to see if any overlay programs like Discord or MSI Afterburner are running. Or mouse software like Logitech or Razer.

I finally figured it out. Do you still remember the problem of the CPU being fully loaded in s3? At that time, there was a way to load cfg files. I deleted the user.cfg file and the problem was solved😱
