FPS Drop after most recent GPU driver/game update

As of the most recent Nvidia drivers (511.23) I've noticed a 15-20fps drop during games of BF2042. Is anybody else experiencing this? I'm trying to work out whether it's a driver-side or a game-side issue. I would usually roll back to previous drivers to try and help ascertain whether this is the cause of the problem, but I don't have much time available to do this right now so thought I'd see if anyone else, with the same drivers, is experiencing a similar drop in FPS.

  • @CableTongue I had some issues with the most recent drivers as well. For example, FPS drop, GPU not showing at all, and flickering. I used the DDU program and reinstalled the drivers and that seem to fix my issues.

Hopefully either reinstalling the drivers or rolling back solves your issue.
  • I tried rolling back my drivers to the two previous iterations, but this didn't seem to help. However, I then altered the power plan in my bios and that seems to have improved FPS, so perhaps that was the problem (although now I have to put up with CPU temperatures of around 90C!).
