@NobodyKnowsBest  As in below radar? Below radar only breaks the lock-on before the missle is fired right, not after?

If I recall from this game he was way above radar and was flying higher and higher but might have passed a sand dune, it was in the Hourglass map, but that would have litterly been 1 milisecond of him passing the peak of the dune.

If anything below radar stopping a missle that is already in the air is stupid right?

ive been getting this issue with every single aa missile i fire since the last update.

I lock on, fire the missile, then watch it yeet itself in a straight line off the map.

ive just given up trying to use it.

  • Yeah, heli streamers are using this bug but not many people are talking about it and I've even been told in game that its an intentional thing by pilots (when there are no such patch notes to indicate it is intentional).

The bug been something like: FXM-33 missiles will lock on and fire but if the target dips below radar it will fly straight past the pilot (they won't get the incoming missile indicator either from what I've seen). In other words, going below radar is acting like flares (at least for FXM-33 vs nightbird, not sure about other air vehicles).

Edit: I'd also add that in the instance it happened to me it was happening 100% of the time -- I fired all 3 of my missiles but the nightbird (<100m away) was able to keep dipping under radar to avoid getting hit.

Dropping "below radar" is not supposed to break the lock. If this is happening, its definitely a bug.
