Other settings are saved, but only the resolution always default to 3840x2160.

Hey, @groundedjet can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

I tried the best I can with clean boot as only my antivirus was not disabled in startup. I removed the Nvidia FPS counter. After clean boot and counter removal, I still get the problem. It may be a visual bug as it shows the resolution at 3840x2160 after game startup, but it is actually working with the last set resolution. When I cycle through the resolutions, "apply" appears for other resolutions except the last resolution that I set before restarting the game.

I don't understand what you are saying. Can you give more details?

if you press alt + tab you tab out from the game. If you do alt + tab you tab into the game, does the game resolution change when you do that? @groundedjet,
/Atic I pressed alt+tab from the game to the desktop, then alt+tab back to game, and the resolution does not change. The indicator is at 3840x2160, but I think it may be actually displaying 1920x1080 even though the indicator points to 3840x2160. A visual glitch?

Need a recording of this, sounds more of perceiving it to be wrong when its not. We are not tracking any issues with resolution when resolution has been set. @groundedjet,
