Game is not starting after Update (Season 6)

I had the same issue yesterday.

What worked for me was to start steam in offline mode (top menu on the left choose 'steam' and then chose 'go offline') and then launch the game from there.

Today the issue was gone.

Its always the same behaviour now. No matter where i start the game from. First the small BF Season 6 window with loading bar at the bottom opens. After that a bf2042 window in the upper left corner opens. This takes very long then and if the window is on focus, my mouse also disappears. But i can change the tab, then the mouse is available again. After a while the ea app is opening and thats it. If i start from there again, exactly the same happens. EA app is clothing first and at the end it opens again.

I am facing the same issues. Tried so many solutions mentioned in other threads but nothing works. 

Perhaps it is something with the files. Same for me, everytime I validate the game through steam, there are always 3 files missing that it reinstalls. Perhaps the issue is in those? 

I have the same problem since yesterday. Since new season I got constant problems with this game - very often black screen after round and LOD bug that makes graphic look crap. Sometimes also missing weapons. So I figured out that everytime I have this LOD bug, I also got black screen after match. Sometimes I can play few rounds without problems, sometimes not. Restarting game helps, but in general it's lottery.

Now I have worse problem - it takes few minutes to launch the game. I'm using EA app. First I need to wait like 30 seconds to see that little game banner, which really is anticheat launching. After 2-3 minutes a new window opens with the game, but just for a half of the screen and for next 2-3 minutes I got black screen in it and nothing happens. After this, game is finally launching and that black window is going full screen.

I got patience to play only once yesterday, and very quickly I got that LOD bug, but even worse than before. Some wall textures were supper low res. And ofcourse after end of the round - black screen.

I tried to repair the game, and did the same to the anticheat (and also tried to update it).

Actually now I can't launch. Got that black screen window for more than 10 minutes now. The process is not taking any CPU power, only 927mb of RAM. Basically it looks dead.
