Game not running on PC

I've seen several threads on this and tried out their solutions (Running as administrator, privacy settings, reinstall, repair files etc) but still no luck. I recently played the BF6 open beta and really enjoyed it so I wanted to have a go at BF20242 and bought it. I just see the splash screen, and then the game crashes.
