"Seriously, using the FXM-33 lock-on while hugging the sky ceiling and then parachuting down to snipe helis is such a cheap move. It’s honestly a dirty play and it’s killing the vibe. In BF6 you can't absolutely no way to use firearms, lock-on missiles, or any gadgets while parachuting. If a Stinger camper is sitting at the top of the map with these abilities, pilots have like a 1% chance of surviving. Dice please fix this by disabling all combat actions during the parachute to keep the game fair and challenging. Stop making it so easy for campers and start rewarding real skill."Losing Connection to EA servers
I've been having an issue where I get disconnected from matches after playing for 5-10 minutes (usually 8 minutes exactly). I've been having the issue for the past 2 years and it has occurred on every Battlefield game I own on my PC (BF4, BF1, BF5, BF2042, BF6). I've tried every solution I could find and haven't had any luck and I was wondering if anyone else is still having this issue or better yet if anyone has found a fix for it. I've tried everything I could find online or think of on my own, except wiping my PC and restarting with a fresh install of windows (I've seen posts where people have tried that and it still didn't work). I've also had three different ISP's and the issue has occurred with all of them. I'll attempt to provide an exhaustive list of everything I've tried, but if anyone has any recommendations or experience with this issue and wants to comment that'd be great. Things I've tried in no particular order: Reinstall network drivers (ethernet and WIFI) Reinstall Nvidia drivers and all Intel Drivers Port forwarding Clean install of Steam, EA, and game Allowing anti-cheat and game through firewall Disabling firewall and Virus Scanning Manually updating DNS address (DNS Cache is running) Updating adapter settings to not use Dualband Disabling IPv6 Running EA, anti-cheat, steam, and game as Administrator Disabling .NET 3.5 Disabling .NET 4.8 Upgrading to Windows 11 Downloading the game on different hard-drives Ensuring Secure Boot is on and working Clearing EA and Steam cache consistently Repairing Anti-Cheat and EA App with App Recovery Cleaning out old drivers/programs that are unused Tried Ethernet and WIFI with each ISP (tested disabling the driver for the one I wasn't using as well) Disabling Overlays Enabling Overlays Creating fresh EA and Steam accounts That's all I can think of right now but if I try new things or remember other things I've tried previously, I will update the thread. This software cannot be used at the same time as the game: Interception
What did you expect to happen? The game starts via steam, load EA app with EA AC and then load the game to title screen. What actually happened instead? The game started via steam, loaded the EA app as well as the EA AC but not loading the game. instead the error happened: "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: Interception" What device/system are you using? Windows 10 PC, launched the game via Steam. Other Information: Checked any app or drivers installed with the name "Interception". None Restarted the PC. No error on startup. Check integrity of the file via Steam. Done, no error. Repair EA AC via the installer. Success Reinstall EA AC via the installer. Success. Again, restarted the PC. No error on startup. The game was tested between each steps. Same error. Some other user on reddit seemed to have the same problem since yesterday. I recently did a windows 10 reinstall.SolvedNew bugs in 2026
After renewing my EA Play subscription, I returned to Battlefield 2042, but since then, I haven't been able to enter a single 2042 session. Every time I try, my network card crashes. I've tried updating my network card driver, motherboard BIOS, clearing the cache, updating and fixing anti-cheat measures, updating my NVIDIA graphics card driver, and using my phone's hotspot, but without exception, I get the same error message. I'm starting to believe that DICE is trying to drive players to Battlefield 6, but this will only drive players away. My IP address is in the US, so I'm sure it's not a VPN issue.EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver.
I been trying to play 2042 for the past week almost but get hit with this. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing files, updating anti-cheat and nothing. I only realized after that if I rename this SPECIFIC file to, "msio64.sys.old" will it let me finally launch. I'm posting here and asking if doing this will somehow flag or put me at risk for a potential ban? Apparently this file is SPECIFICALLY for RGB lighting software which is insane to think that they care about that, but anyways I'm just asking if this will result in me possibly being false banned by doing this rename work around? I'd really not risk red game ban text on my Steam account over RGB file...SolvedEA Anti-Cheat Crashing Wi-Fi on Launch – Windows Troubleshooting Job Instead
This is honestly ridiculous.. I paid full price for Battlefield 2042 (and also own Battlefield V), expecting a working game – you know, the basic thing you get when you buy a title in 2026. Instead I’m sitting here dealing with my Wi-Fi completely crashing / network adapter dying every single time the game launches or tries to connect to a server. It’s clearly an EA Anti-Cheat issue (Javelin or whatever it’s called now) conflicting with Wi-Fi drivers – tons of people are reporting the exact same thing for months already. And what do I get as a “solution”? Reinstalling network drivers, running repairs, turning off features in Windows, adding exceptions everywhere, or – my personal favorite – “just use a cable bro”. Are you serious? I bought a game, not a second job troubleshooting Windows for a multi-billion dollar company. This level of paranoia from anti-cheat is insane – it’s breaking legitimate players’ internet connections instead of actually catching cheaters. Fix your **bleep** anti-cheat already. People shouldn’t have to waste hours tinkering with their OS just to play a game they already paid for. Absolute joke.
