Game randomly displaying a black screen during matches

Ever since the launch of the new patch, whenever I play the game the visual output sometimes switches to completely black during matches. I can still play the game while it occurs, it's just that I'm playing blind. Whenever it happens, it stays that way until I alt-tab to a different window and switch back to the game; after that the black screen goes away but it still reappears later. I have found that doing things like aiming down sights or going to the respawn menu have a higher chance of triggering it than simply idling on the map.
I have tried checking the integrity of the files, checking if there was no drivers update, messing around in display settings, and even reinstalling the game alltogether, it's still here. Need a solution asap as right now it is unplayable.
