Game STILL opening at lower resolutions

Question

This is getting old.&nbsp; I've reinstalled and tried everything I can find online, but seems a few of us are still having to change the resolution of this game every time we open it.&nbsp; Game always opens for me at 720 or less, and I have to reset it in the option screens, and it's not easy to see it.&nbsp; Games been out for months and it can't save a resolution to save its life.&nbsp; At least have the default resolution set to something people use.&nbsp; Online I'm hearing it has something to do with overlays, but I have Origin's and steams overlays disabled at this point, and it's doing nothing.Also, speaking of overlays, what the hell is with any origin notification causing the game to minimize?&nbsp; Why do I have to literally disable everything in origin to play this game?&nbsp; I can't even chat with people or see friends getting online because it minimizes my game non stop.&nbsp; ANGRY SCREAMS!

July now, had major updates come out since I first posted this.....this is STILL an issue. Every time I launch the game, I have to squint to get to options to adjust my resolution. It states it's at 1080, so i have to down click the resolution then click it back to 1080 just so i can get the accept button to light up so it can apply the 1080 resolution the game stated it started in to begin with (Even though it didn't)

This is getting stupid. I want to play this game more, but having to mess with my settings EVERY time I open the game is getting REALLY old.

Had an issue with shadowplay recording in low res years ago, turns out nvidia records bf at the starting resolution and bf changes resolution twice.

This may be related here, to fix i had to set the profsave_profile width/heights to what i wanted and also do this:

@Kyosji Me too. Now it shows in the display settings that it’s 1920x1080, but visually it’s 1024x768. I have to click it off and back to 1920 and apply. It also switches to 59.5 mhz instead of 60. 9 months of this, none of the “fixes” worked, and it’s as bad as ever. Since it opens in the wrong settings while showing the correct settings (except for the display hertz) 90% of the time, manually adjusting the profile doesn’t help anymore.

I hate it when that happens to me as well.&nbsp; Got mine through epicgames and to have to open EG then BF2042 only for it to open Origin then launch BF2042 and nothing happens and have to repeat the launch game option from EG.&nbsp; &nbsp;I found right clicking the Origin icon in my taskbar and picking the launcher helps load it but again it doesnt always work.&nbsp;&nbsp;

@Kyosji Mine opens in 1024 at least half the time. I have to squint to change it to 1920… amd that’s not even the worst bug in this game. Points at the weak sauce programming though when you can’t even get a game to open in the right resolution or save it once it’s set. Bunk.
