Game won't start-same problem from the Beta

I am having the same problem with full game that some of us had during the beta and there was never a solution given. When I launch 2042, it never gets past the easy anti-cheat screen and either gives a message that something is wrong and I need to re-install the game or it just closes and goes back to Origin. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and have tried the suggestions from easy anti-cheat's website and nothing is helping. I have cleared the cache, installed Microsoft visual, etc. I have a process monitor file but it's the wrong format and I can't upload it. When I manually go through the install of easy anti-cheat, in the drop down menu there are no games listed just a game number.

    Re install, repair ect

    Used DDU uninstalled GPU driver
    Re install- worked

    Amd radion 6800xt

    im having a similar issue but my game doesnt even boot, it launches and shows its being played on steam and origin but nothing is happening. application for me is also running in the background on task manager but i cant play. reinstalled the game 3 times, on 2 HDDs and 1 SSD. still the same issue, drivers are up to date and everything. super excited to play to but i cant even start the game.. i wish i could help.

    I have the same issue,

    When I launch the game through steam I get the easy anti cheat splash screen then the error saying

    "there is a problem with your games setup please reinstall your game” 

    made sure direct X was up to date,

    reinstalled easy anticheat

    ran in administrator

    verified the game install on steam twice

    I have redownloaded the entire install and the problem remains.

    Worth noting that it appears to load the easy anti cheat splash screen twice!

    I have the same issue (and in the Open Beta), Tried every standard troubleshooting step.

    For me the game launched from initial install absolutely fine, I played for 2 hours and decided to restart my computer, now it won't launch. This is the same experience I had for the open beta. I even tried deleting the local files/settings etc. to see if that was causing issue and that didn't change anything either.

    The only way I got it working is to reinstall windows and even then, it still won't launch after the first time.

    @SlipperyDropBear i dont get a crash, mine keeps running as a bakcground process. i have done all troubleshooting and cant get it to work. been on it for 4 hours now trying to get it to launch.

    Mine does the exact same thing. Unfortunately for me, i've not been able to play a single second of the full release or beta as I had the same issues.

    I've tried updating all drivers, clearing caches and still no luck. I've seen quite a few threads on the forums with the same issue so it seems to be pretty prevalent.

    Update:  I had to install the EA app and used DDU to do a clean install of my graphics driver and it worked. So far it's working.

    I never had this issue till the most recent update, I own the gold addition through Steam, but I am unable to play because I get stuck on the anti-cheat screen. I have tried absolutely everything I can think of and find short of factory resetting my pc. I do quite enjoy the game and support it but if there is a bug like this still around it creates a big issue.
