@ElliotLHThere's one issue with this. How do you know who is actively using the exploit and should be reported? One person places the spawn beacon, but squadmates spawn on it and they might be unaware, which happened to me once. In that case I should have reported my teammate who placed the beacon, which I will do next time, but if it is the enemy how do you address the right person as I think it's a bit harsh to report people who used the glitch unintended?
Although I do agree with the initial statement not to post descriptions and proof here to not draw any unwanted attention to this glitch, we are now at a point that it is in the game for too long. More and more people will encounter it and also people will search for it, it takes 0.28 sec to get results elsewhere.
And so far I haven't seen even an official acknowledgement the issue is being investigated, let alone being worked on. Not on @BattlefieldComm via Twitter (X), nor on the known issues list.https://answers.ea.com/t5/Updates/Battlefield-2042-Known-Issues/m-p/10944776/highlight/true#M1
So addressing this directly to @TOTALfps , can we please get some attention for this and address it to the dev's?
@RanzigeRidder2 I've only been reporting the people who are actually coming through the walls and kill others, as that to me is the point they cross the line into exploiting the glitch. Since I've accidentally spawned on teammates doing it too and had to respawn, it doesn't feel right to report those people (not to mention that it'd be unlikely that I'd see their names anyway).
- @ElliotLH I think people using this glitch by traversing underneath the map and capturing objectives are equally exploiting as it makes gameplay unfair.
Point is, this glitch exists now probably since launch of the map, it should not take this long to acknowledge and deal with the issue, and meanwhile force people to go out of their way to keep reporting players. We just want to play the game!- @RanzigeRidder2 I don't disagree with you there, same as leaving TUGs or a scrambler under a point. Finding the names of those people doing that is problematic without going down there yourself of course. This is where a spectator mode would be really helpful.
I saw that this has been acknowledged in the post on the general forums. I assume though that we aren't likely to hear more until a fix has been found.- @ElliotLH Yes I assume the same, they probably don't want to draw anymore unwanted attention to this glitch. Meanwhile it's getting pretty annoying and game-breaking.
I just sent in a report with video evidence on 2 players from last night's game where I had an assist on one wall glitcher who got killed by a teammate after which I get killed by his teammate from inside the wall.
