Good ping but lag?
I have been playing this game and for the life of my I can figure out what is going on. I have average ping of 20-25 on fiber internet with a top stat PC build so I know those are good. My question what would be the cause for me to be able to sneak up behind an enemy and unload an entire mag from an assalt rifle or auto shotgun and they just turn and fire 2-4 shots and I die with them at full health. I have even been at point blank range where I hit every shot and still I die and they have full health so I know im not missing them. The crazy thing is I can go to a server overseas with 130+ ping and my shots land as expected. I am wondering is there a compensation built in to the game for different ping rates cause thats what it seems like. It feels like Im ahead of most people and I get paused so the other person gets to catch up if that makes sense. I have watched the network graph and its stable my connection doesnt change at all and I have 0 packet loss. I am hardwired connection also and yes I have tried removing my router and going just straight to the fiber and somehow my experience was worse. Am I crazy....I know its not me at this point....Im assuming its sometype of server compensation at this point but its very frustrating to loose most every firefight even when i get the jump on people from behind. Its to the point if I see an enemy I run away even if im behind them as I know i can shot them hit them and they can just turn and fire killing me with 2-4 shots everytime. Any ideas or is there even a plan to fix issues like these?
