GPU crashes when I look at the map

Summarize your bug When I open the map during multiplayer (mostly hazard zone but I've hard it occur on CQ which i sometimes play), my gpu sometime crashes and the game stops working (error message attached). Particularly annoying in Hazard Zone as I can not re-join the same game. It only happens occasionally, but the map is important for gameplay so about 1/4 of my gaming rounds are ruined by this. The remaining squad also gets their game somewhat ruined by my unexplained exodus. I've never had this crash/message with other games. As far as I can tell it is caused by the map as I encountering it just as I open the map. I have disabled overlays and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game with no success. Otherwise no major issues, decent FPS (around 80) with with res monitor but low settings.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play around in RTX 2070 super and open/close map a lot, preferably in hazard zone
What happens when the bug occurs? the game freezes and I have to right-click the game in the taskbar to exit it.
What should be happening instead? it shouldn't crash

    Summarize your bug Game froze and it put up a DirectX error that is in the attached screenshot. It happened after went to the large map screen while in a Conquest match. I've received this error more than once in the last week. Since update 3.1 I've had several DirectX crashes. Happens every 5 or so hours of playing. Many of these happened when accessing the large map.
    How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look at CrashDump.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes and a DirectX error popup is shown. Typically need to kill the game by killing it in Task Manager.
    What should be happening instead? Game should not crash

    After I posted this bug, NVIDIA released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver v.497.29 (12/20/21). It is the one GeForce Experience is offering. So I'm giving that a try to see if it resolves this.

    Note that I'm on a desktop PC not a notebook and the comments for the driver you provided seems more focused on that. But I can try it out (or a newer version of it) if this does not pan out.

    I uninstalled the graphics driver fully with DDU, then reinstalled it with a clean install as instructed. 

    No change, the game still crashes when i open the map sometimes, and just ruined another round of Hazard Zone. 

    I can confirm that I have the latest NVIDEA driver installed (497.29)

    Can anyone confirm that this bug has been reported? The suggested fixes did not help, including clean reinstall of NVIDIA and the game itself.

    This happened to me as well. It did only happen once though! The GPU driver crashed and game exited as soon as I opened the map in the first 30 seconds when the match started.

    I'll consider this another "heat stick" added to the already big pile of "heat sticks" devs have to digest!

    Happens to me as well, same exact behavior. I'm also running an RTX 2070 Super.
